NISHANTH Question: hai guruji, i own a boxer-ct(2003)model and it has done 18,000 kms. till now. i didnt use it for the last 3 months and when i tried to start it today, it didnt start for first 10 min. and then started emitting white smoke. earlier it needs to be replaced with timing chain. i didnt replace it as i am leaving for another place and left it as it is. Is the smoke because of the timing chain or usage of the bike after long time? this was the case for the 1st ride only. but, after 5 kms. ride it is ok now. what might be the fault? pls. suggest me...

BIKE GURU Answer:IF it didnt start for first 10 min IT IS NORMAL, SiNCE YOU didnt use it for the last 3 months. ALSO IF IT started emitting white smoke IS ALSO NORMAL. TiMiNG CHAiN IS NOT THE ISSUE. AND ALSO IF this was the case for the 1st ride only. but, after 5 kms. ride it is ok now MEANS NOTHiNG IS WRONG. THERE IS NOTHiNG WRONG WiTH YOUR BiKE.
