The Verdict

Solid build quality, a brisk engine and superior technology suspension make the Italjet Dragster the most exciting of its kind. Mind you, it won't come cheap in its present guise, and the big question mark remains as to what engine Kinetic finally decides as apt for a possible Indian version. Having brought a scooter this exciting to our shores, one expects a motor as fast as the one in this story. If and when that happens, we won't sympathise with reade rs writing in to grumble on grounds of price or mileage.
The Dragster has the potential to build a strong following in India. It will also open up a completely new segment on debut — sports-scooters — and who knows where that leads?

TESTERS NOTES
Switchgear as solid as it gets.
Cluttered floorboard looks cramped but is no cause for concern.
Seat looks thin but surprisingly offers ample support.
