Yee-ha!
Yippee-yay! Glorious! Fabulous! Get me all the colours.
Ravings of a mad nutter you say? Well, uh in a way yes.
You see being half-bawa I am well... half mad. So the pressing
question is why am I acting totally bonkers? A 300km ride
on the Eliminator, Bajaj Auto's hottest, most delicious
offering to date did what even the lord above failed to
do right at the start. A self-confessed Bullet nut, my loyalties
seem to be veering in Bajaj's direction. Unbelievable but
true. Just a year back such a thought wouldn't even permeate
this thick skull of mine.
In September we carried an exclusive first ride on a pre-production
model and the editor came away all raving and salivating
over the bike. Is the Eliminator that good to warrant such
copious praise? Off hand I would say yes but then I get
paid to key in a few more words. So now it is my turn to
salivate and in turn make you salivate over these pages.
Setting aside my initial euphoria, Ill try (very hard)
to be objective and bring you a fair picture of how good
(or bad) this bike really is. No point in repeating what
the editor already said in the preview so lets get
right down to the job at hand. So keep those super absorbent
napkins at hand while I put the Eliminator through her paces
and see how she scores in this exclusive road test of what
will be one of the most exclusive bikes to be made in India. |
