  An Introduction

At first glance you can take the safe approach and state that the Activa has come out as a remixed job. Remixed to mean adopting the overall theme and concept of the Kinetic Honda scooters of yore but powered by a four-stroke mill in keeping with these eco-conscious times. If the Activa had anything but a Honda badge on it we might have suggested something else but this indeed is the actual situation. However, having said that it is a mighty strong first offering from Honda's first wholly-owned subsidiary in India. OVERDRIVE has brought the gen on the HMSI project right from the concept stage and also a first impression on the Activa in our issues over the last one year. So when one of our friends bought an Activa, we borrowed it for a week to bring you this first ever road test report of a scooter which many think could redefine the segment.
