Great stuff comes in large packages!

Wonder what it was that kept Hero and Honda away from coming to make such a motorcycle earlier but better late than never seems to be the operating dictum here. The Karizma has to be the bike for the Performance minded Indian biker in 2003 to acquire provided that he doesn't mind the styling and also has about Rs 90,000 (OTR Mumbai) to splurge on this super machine. It is also a great all-round bike, probably the best such made in this country to date and it will take all of Hero Honda's skills to come up with the requisite numbers in quality to satiate demand from all over the country. Hero Honda said that it wants to make and sell 20,000 units per anum of such a bike, I say that they are kidding themselves, the number could easily be twice that! Thrice that I hear someone suggest, if they price it around the Rs 80,000 mark, quadruple that at around the Rs 70,000 mark, hey I better stop or will end up putting the production programmers at all the Indian bike makers out of sync!
