Rugged
enough to get the job done.
The Boss was initially designed to take the erstwhile Challenger
downmarket and into the rural household. As such it required
a tough chassis to take in the demands of strenuous rural
usage as well as have strong suspension componentry to take
in the (over) loading typical in the hinterland. It is this
tried and tested package that forms the backbone of the
Boss 115.
The dual tube cradle frame makes for a sufficiently flex-free
package. Mated to suspension components that are set-up
on the stiffer side, it gives the Boss handling capabilities
that are good enough to exploit the limits of tyre capabilities.
The ride quality though slightly stiff is good enough to
handle most if not all kinds of road in urban India and
almost anything in rural India. Admirably the pillion does
not upset the balance of the bike too much though the seat
foam padding is overly soft and results in a sore backside
for both rider and pillion in a few miles of riding. |
