That
Kinetic Engineering is learning from her mistakes is without
doubt. In the same breath however it must be added that
Kinetic still have a lot to learn and the learning curve
is only getting steeper and more complex.
The idea behind the Boss 115, to offer more (in terms of
value, Performance etc) to
the entry level buyer is admirable, the execution leaves
something to be desired. Having the best performing motorcycle
in the segment is a feather in the cap but the question
is, have priorities been misplaced?
Ask yourself: what do buyers in the entry level segment
want? Fuel Efficiency, reliability,
quality, refinement, ruggedness, styling etc. Where does Performance come? Sixth, seventh,
even eighth on the list? Hmm... now you know what I mean
by priorities?
The Boss 115 is a good product in isolation. However in
the overall scheme of things she loses out ever so slightly
to the competition on parameters that matter the most. All
the ingredients for a top selling package are there, it’s
just the refinement angle that need sorting. That done,
when other bikers ask you about your new Boss 115, you will
be able to say, with a straight face, dum hai. |
