 The Class

Kinetic Nova
135 Rs 36,506
Capacity 135cc Power 8.5bhp Torque 0.87kgm
Max speed 85kph 0-60kph 10.29s
Cousin to the 4S, the Nova 135 packs in more power and considerably better Performance. Handling and ride quality are superior to the 4S, although not as effective as The Class-leading Wave. This smart-looking scooter sells in a virtual class of its own, a good buy for youth who care for little else, and want the fastest set of wheels.

Honda Activa
Rs 37,238
Capacity 102cc Power 7bhp Torque 0.77kgm
Max speed 77kph 0-60kph 13.13s
Honda's Activa pulled off the impossible, revving up India's flagging scooter industry. The automatic city commuter scooter remains a Honda bestseller to date and offers unmatched refinement. It, however, lags behind the value-for money-package of Bajaj's new Wave, and with 2006 around the bend is starting to feel a wee bit outdated.
