Legendary two-strokes never die; they come back to earth as four-strokes. Especially at Kinetic Engineering Ltd (KEL) which has its 1980s Honda Lead-based warrior returning to the fray with an emission-friendly heart. And while it does sound like a good plan, India’s pioneering variomatic is up against the Wave, Bajaj Auto’s stylish automatic that’s made segment leader Honda Activa look over its shoulder, for the first time.
The Activa is still the largest seller, but who comes up trumps when the Kinetic 4S does battle with the Bajaj Wave?
