 Fuel Economy

Even before we got astride it, we were sure the Enticer DLX's smaller engine would provide it an obvious advantage in the Fuel Economy stakes. Yet, the Avenger pulls back to good effect what it loses by means of a larger bore, in utilising twin plugs, roller bearings for the rocker arms and a CV carb.
The Bajaj, surprisingly, turned in mileage nearly at par with the Yamaha. In the city, the Avenger was a frugal sipper with 45.1 kilometres per litre (kpl), where the Enticer managed 44.9kpl. Out on the highway, which is typical cruiser territory, the Avenger recorded 49.4kpl, while the Enticer went marginally further with 50.5kpl.
