When ridden hard to obtain the measured test results, the worst that the Boxer dropped to was 51.38kpl and the both the Crux-r and the Joy slipped to below 50kpl, with the Joy maintaining its edge over the Crux-R with 49kpl to 46kpl for the Yamaha. The Boxer's highway and city figures of 68.5 and 62.3kpl bring its overall figure to 68.3kpl. the Crux-R's better highway 68.6kpl and city 56.1kpl raises the overall average to 61.5kpl marginally superior to the Joy's highway 58.6kpl and city 55kpl and overall 61.3kpl.
