 Fuel Efficiency

Stingy and strung out.

One should have no qualms on this front. The Pep with her extreme lean burn engine and sparse fuel intake stretches the litre to a best of 79.5kmph. Simply fantastic for the core buyer for whom Fuel Efficiency is foremost on the agenda. This comes at a price however, the strung out Fuel Efficiency being a virtue of the lean burn engine which has been so finely tuned that cold starts get to be an ordeal. Riding through peak traffic conditions she still returns a stupendous 64.4kmpl. Combined efficiency figures give an overall figure of 72kmpl. However a 5-litre fuel tank capacity gives a range of just 360km. A couple more litres could have stretched the fuel stop intervals some more.
