Ever since its launch in 1993, the petite two-stroke Scooty has written an enduring success story for TVS Motor Company. A decade later, this light and practical city runabout underwent a heart
transplant from two- to four-stroke. The ladies' favourite has always cruised along in a class of its own with virtually no competition. Until now.
Most leading two-wheeler manufacturers have suddenly realised the rich potential of the Scooty's segment and have announced new model plans. The new Pep Plus is TVS's answer to the perceived threat. While the familiar, light profile remains unchanged, sensible new features help beef up and enhance the overall package. The Scooty Pep heart now comes with some additional cubes. But are these changes good enough to get the competition thinking again?
