Sensible
and well engineered, displaying good build quality, the
Victor combines the
strengths of a flexible engine with a comfortable suspension
setup to come up with a riding experience that satisfies
but fails to truly entertain. The overall styling is pleasing,
not outstanding, yet gets your attention with its balanced
and compact proportions. TVS's proven record for 'no problem'
bikes and the high fuel economy available from the Victor
should overcome whatever the bike lacks in sheer glamour.
Without a firm fix on the pricing from the manufacturer
(at the time of going to press), it would be difficult to
warrant a verdict based on assumption. Sensibly priced,
the Victor is certain to torque its way out of the showrooms
and into the homes of many buyers.
Lacks brilliance but scores high on competence.
